Class Evaluation

  1. The things I like about this class is that we get to learn how to make out blogs seen with everyone, also learning about keys to success in life and how we get to follow those types of keys. I also like working with computers I get to know a lot of stuff that I didn't know about, and I just think that's really cool.
  2. That we don't get to work with partners or in groups with our lab work. That's the only thing I don't like about this class but for the most that's it.
  3. To improve in this class I would like to learn how to code or create better websites and also to learn shortcuts in the computer. Maybe even create online games so other people could play.
  4. My highlight for this class is to improve my typing skills and to learn more about HTML.
  5. I absolutely did my best in this class, I did everything that I was assigned to do. I really put a lot of effort towards my work and my Electronic Portfolio. Also the activities we do and reading my life planning goals.
  6. I am doing what I'm supposed to be doing in class, and one of those things are reading and writing about my life planning goals, so as the Sharpening the Saw for five minutes. This really helped me with my work and what to do in the future. also using them at my advantage.
  7. I will try to be a CTR person in the future, I need to start acting like a good person to everyone and also be good to myself the most. I hope to make the best out of everything I do, leaving all the bad stuff behind me and just try to live a long healthy life with my family.

The 10 Keys to Personal Power

Brain Tracy

Briantracy.com

Key 1: Clarity
"Have vision. Determine what you want to be, do or have in life. Have a sense of direction and know where you're going. If you do not have clear specific goals in life, you are doomed forever to work for others who do."

Reflection: I think clarity means what you want to do, mainly something important in your life. have a vision of that career you want to achieve, others may put you down but you have the ability to keep on going. have specific goals get to choose many of them and find out what's good for you. never give up on that one  specific goal, always have a positive thought about that one goal, and chase it. always have an idea, try to plan it so when you really want to complete that goal it would be easier to accomplish.

Key 2: Competence

"If you commit to excellence, opportunities will always come your way. The harder you work, the better you get."

Reflection: this quote means if you commit to some certain things in life you can get really far with your future. the harder you work the better you get, some people don't study or work for the things they want in life. they just don't do it and doesn't really bother them that they can't do it. people just have to work and study with an education in order to live and have food on your plate every single day, same goes with money and time. So make sure to take those opportunities in life so you could live happy and wealthy.

Key 3: Concentration

"Make the best use of your time. Ask yourself "Is this the best use of my time?" before you start anything."

Reflection: This quote talks about being concentrated in life and working on the good things you need to do. Concentrating yourself into the important stuff can really make you know a lot of things, also using the best time for it. either studying for a test, concentrating in class to finish work, or going home doing homework as well. Put yourself in that comfortable situation where you could learn and have a quiet moment and get to relax, thinking about all the positive thoughts you have in your head. this what makes you concentrate even more.

Key 4: Common Sense

  • Train your mind
  • think things through
  • listen to your intuition
  • learn from setbacks
Reflection: I think this is a great set up of how to learn and educate yourself from things you have learned on your own. the setbacks of how to do better next time or in the future as well. listen to your thoughts that's going in your head of what not to do or whats good to do. train your mind to behave, good think good and work good. all of those steps can acknowledge you to learn better from the past mistakes you have probably done.

Key 5: Creativity
"Except the fact that every human being is a genius. The hallmark of creativity is asking questions. The people who are most are the most creative ask the most questions

Reflection: I think it's true many people that are smart and mostly are a genius do ask a lot of questions to find out more and learn more as well. those type of people figure out the best information out there and the best easiest ways to be better perform better and compete better. people who don't ask many questions as others don't have that type of mind set about learning other new things. or they just find it easier by themselves to learn or that already know how to. It is important to have questions about what you are interested in, so that way you have a better idea of learning it. There is different kinds of people out there that may think different, That's what I think, but every one is smart at there own way.

Key 6: Consideration
"The quality of your relationships with other people will determine your success in life."

"Develop the people skills you need to become a better communicator. Take courses in listening, speaking, etc."

"If you were to learn new word a day, within 5 years, you'll be the best educated person in history."

Reflection: All this requires you to be a better listener and not having to do bad in classes or with anyone that you talk to, friends, family, teachers, professors. This involves a lot of you're effort to be the best at the work you want to learn and want to achieve, in life you need to know what you are good at and to go further with that goal in order to get a good job and earn really good amount of money. Also be saving that money that currency and spend it on the stuff you actually need not just stuff to buy and perceive it.

Key: 7: Consistency

"Dependable, steady predictable work is always superior to fast spurts of work. "

"Be consistent in your relationships, your family, friends, your boss, your work. Be the person that people can depend upon. That if your say you'll do something you do it."

Reflection: be consistent and know what you are doing, be careful and try not to make any mistakes.  You should know how to get the job done, be the best and learn things the right way. always be consistent with work, all the important stuff, looking out for any mistakes and correcting them.

Key 8: Commitment

"no success is possible without commitment. The ability to commit yourself whole heartily is the basis of achieving all success."

"Become totally absorbed in your work. Be totally committed."

Reflection: I think this quote is correct, it absolutely says the right thing. Knowing how to commit and making good decisions in school or whether it's in sports etc. many people out there can commit to the stuff they're passionate about what they love. But some are not committed to anything, you just have to commit or else what else are you going to learn and be good at, there is a lot of things out there that are fun and enjoyable but again a lot of people just don't take the opportunity to take it. in america there is many jobs and good benefits that you can get here and no where else. but by achieving your goal you have to work for it and earn it.

Key 10: Confidence

"You only get confidence by doing things over and over again."
Reflection: having good confidence will help you maintain the goals you really want to reach, also you can be more confident if you put the effort in the work you are doing. a lot of people don't have confidence about themselves they just have no confidence and don't actually like the way they are or aren't good at anything. I mean any one has a passion that they love to do, people do.

Reflection:

Freelance Post/ Character and Personality
I learned that with dealing or helping others with some types of problems, try to set an example of how you can fix it or how to show them the same character and personality to them back. it might take a week or even more up to some time to help someone in need that you want to be good to someone and show them the respect and care. this is very important a lot of people just depend on hope, it's not always a success, talking to some one might even help more than just hoping the problem would work out by itself. these are valuable things that you need to learn and understand when you are in these types of situations.
